GENERAL INFORMATION:
· Ramblers Meetings are held every Wednesday at 5:00 PM in Forbes 307.

· Unless otherwise specified, all hikes depart from the low wall by the church on 4th Street and Tyndall Avenue.
PAST HIKES:· Will and eight others went up to Blackett's Ridge and encountered "crazy squirrels". When asked, Will replied that he didn't want to show pictures.
· Roxana biked to Windy Point, which she swears wasn't that difficult.
· Steve led a canyoneering trip into the Dragoons around Cochise Stronghold. He had five people along, none of which were there for hiking despite Ben having volunteered as hiking co-leader. They were surprised to find solid ice in the pools. There should be pictures from this trip at next week's meeting.
FUTURE HIKES:
· Drew is planning a trip to the west side of the Dragoons this Sunday, up to Slavin Gulch. He'll have Jessica Lamberton from the Sky Island Alliance along to talk about conservation efforts in the area.
· Steve is planning on taking advantage of the bad weather this weekend to go up to Mount Lemmon. Be prepared to weather some weather.
· Another trip Steve has coming up is his Blue Ridge backpacking excursion this Spring Break. It'll be from Monday through Friday, and Steve promises perennial water and maybe a few beavers.
· Roxana's planning a spring break trip as well. She's spending three days (Saturday to Monday) backpacking through the Rincons. The plan is to ascend both Rincon Peak and Mica Mountain. As far as rating this trip, we're probably looking at an A-level hike. Definitely no mosey. Get in touch with Rox if you're interested.

· Will has been at work at fixing the club website, and it looks like it may be running soon.
· Ben is still looking at items to request out of club funding, etc. The main focus is on women's gear, but any other ideas or suggestions are welcome.
· Apparently the Ramblers are, or are going to be, sponsoring the Orientation Club. This is a group outside of the University, with a focus on using compasses and supposedly whatever else one might use to "orient" themselves. The club is going to be having an on-campus compass-based-scavenger-hunt-type event, and Malissa is looking for anyone who may be interested in participating.
· Once again Juliana provided some delicious baked goods! Thank you!
